LODI, N.J., July 19, 2017 — NYC Ferry boat equipped with 350 Freedman seats supplied by Suburban Auto Seat Co., Inc., (FerryBoatSeats.com) arrives in NYC.
The larger-capacity Ocean Queen Rockstar is the first of four 350-passenger boats to join the NYC Ferry fleet and will help alleviate record-breaking ridership across all routes. The vessel was was built by Metal Shark Boats (Jeanerette, LA) and completed it’s journey up the Atlantic Coast to it’s new home in New York late last week.

These larger boats are outfitted with Freedman’s Genoa Plus Seat which is an ultra-lightweight and durable passenger transit seat. The Genoa seats are designed for style and comfort, engineered for safety and reliability, and are constructed with aluminum frames and supportive covers which meets flame, smoke, and toxicity requirements.
