New Business Development Representative 

In a company like Suburban Seating the lines between colleagues are limited; each person is expected to support each other.  However, the specific tasks which the New Business Development Representative will be expected to achieve are to:

  • Successfully make contact over the phone, inbound and outbound calls, with target clients to close new business
  • Prospect for and establish new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule
  • Prepares cost estimates by studying parts breakdowns, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers
  • Gains customer acceptance by explaining product features and functions and service benefits.
  • Display a positive, competitive, and determined attitude while being a team player
  • Handle multiple responsibilities with a strong work ethic
  • Learn existing and continuously growing product lines
  • Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by project managing client accounts and identifying issues that must be addressed; recommend options and courses of action; implement directives
  • Keep accurate records and details on potential clients and follow-up accordingly to increase close rate
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes

 

Job Requirements

  • 4 year bachelor degree in business or working towards degree
  • Previous business-to-business sales experience preferred
  • Mechanical and/or automotive interest required, experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable on the phone and have an articulate and pleasant manner
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills that will that will lead to converted sales
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM database required, experience with QuickBooks preferred
  • Keen eye for attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn with a confident ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Time management and prioritization skills required with the ability to multi-task
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check

 

Client Services Representative

In a small company like Suburban Seating the lines between colleagues are limited; each person is expected to support each other. The specific tasks the Client Services Representative will be expected to achieve are to:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing client accounts and gain client acceptance by demonstrating product expertise and reliability with service deliverables
  • Comfortably handle inbound and outbound client calls
  • Confirm and process client orders accurately and timely
  • Successfully make contact over the phone, inbound and outbound calls, with target clients to close new business
  • Prospect for and establish new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule
  • Display a positive, competitive, and determined attitude while being a team player
  • Handle multiple responsibilities with a strong work ethic
  • Learn existing and continuously growing product lines
  • Keep accurate records and details on potential clients and follow-up accordingly to increase close rate
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
 

Job Requirements

  • Computer, typing and alphanumeric data entry skills are required with knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks
