New Business Development Representative
In a company like Suburban Seating the lines between colleagues are limited; each person is expected to support each other. However, the specific tasks which the New Business Development Representative will be expected to achieve are to:
- Successfully make contact over the phone, inbound and outbound calls, with target clients to close new business
- Prospect for and establish new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule
- Prepares cost estimates by studying parts breakdowns, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers
- Gains customer acceptance by explaining product features and functions and service benefits.
- Display a positive, competitive, and determined attitude while being a team player
- Handle multiple responsibilities with a strong work ethic
- Learn existing and continuously growing product lines
- Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by project managing client accounts and identifying issues that must be addressed; recommend options and courses of action; implement directives
- Keep accurate records and details on potential clients and follow-up accordingly to increase close rate
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
Job Requirements
- 4 year bachelor degree in business or working towards degree
- Previous business-to-business sales experience preferred
- Mechanical and/or automotive interest required, experience preferred
- Must be comfortable on the phone and have an articulate and pleasant manner
- Excellent oral and written communication skills that will that will lead to converted sales
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM database required, experience with QuickBooks preferred
- Keen eye for attention to detail
- Willingness to learn with a confident ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and prioritization skills required with the ability to multi-task
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
Client Services Representative
In a small company like Suburban Seating the lines between colleagues are limited; each person is expected to support each other. The specific tasks the Client Services Representative will be expected to achieve are to:
- Manage a portfolio of existing client accounts and gain client acceptance by demonstrating product expertise and reliability with service deliverables
- Comfortably handle inbound and outbound client calls
- Confirm and process client orders accurately and timely
- Successfully make contact over the phone, inbound and outbound calls, with target clients to close new business
- Prospect for and establish new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule
- Display a positive, competitive, and determined attitude while being a team player
- Handle multiple responsibilities with a strong work ethic
- Learn existing and continuously growing product lines
- Keep accurate records and details on potential clients and follow-up accordingly to increase close rate
